VERY GOOD: Another recommendation from our neighbor Dave. This is an eclectic little bar in the Industrial part of town near Pony Express RV. The prices here are incredibly reasonable, great vibe, cool outdoor patio, live music most nights. Don't be put off when you drive up, go in, it is worth it. This is a local hang out, you have to know it is there. Can't really rate the food because we only had black bean nachos but they were very good and everyone was raving about their fresh ground burgers.
Garage on Beck
EXCELLENT: Wow, Amazing, Incredible, Ridiculously Delicious...... Our neighbor at Pony Express, Dave, told us we would not be disappointed. He said he had been to sushi restaurants in every major city and this one ranked high on his list. Well he was right, so fresh and so good. It is packed every night so if you want to sit at the sushi bar and watch these artists at work get there when they open, seriously! We also had some great cocktails at the martini bar next door. Renee had an Old Fashioned that was delicious.
VERY GOOD: Would love to give this an excellent but no showers and Renee says it is too tight to wash her hair in Peg. The bathrooms were ok. With that said this is a first come first serve campground in a postcard perfect canyon in Zion. Wow is all we can say about the views and you can see thousands of stars at night. There is a river you can swim in and you can walk to the visitors center or to the charming little town of Springdale with wonderful restaurants and shops. $16.00 for dry camping and our cell phones worked inside Zion which is a huge bonus.
GOOD: Really nice facilities here. Everything was new and well maintained. We were able to get a shaded site but they are pretty close together. You can walk to several restaurants and stores. We usually like to stop somewhere like this after we dry camp to do laundry and relax etc... $35.00 Good Sam rate for full hook ups, wifi and cable.
Willow Wind RV Resort
VERY GOOD: Even though there were no hook ups we still loved it here. The sites were large, private, wooded and the canyon had breathtaking views. There is a bike/ walking trail right by the campground and there are also hiking trails accessible from the campground. There are bathrooms and coin operated showers. We were 14 miles from the Bryce NP entrance. $15.00 for dry.
