VERY GOOD: We were looking for a campground close to downtown Duluth and there were only two options, both owned by the city. As we drove to our campground we were skeptical but were pleasantly surprised. This is a small campground surrounded by woods and a lake. There are a couple of hiking/biking trails accessible from the campground. Bathrooms were ok. $36/night gets you an electric only site.
VERY GOOD: Loved this little restaurant, fresh organic local food! The brunch was so good; Renee had brie, caramelized apple and nitrate free ham crepes and Tim had a Greek omelette full of olives, feta cheese and spinach. Oh and the Bloody Mary with a side of beer was the perfect starter.
At Saras Table
VERY GOOD: What a unique spot, we shared a veggie burger that was good but the highlight was the bar downstairs. The restaurant used to be City Hall and the basement bar used to be the jail. Definitely worth grabbing a cocktail and seeing the original brick walls in the basement. The atmosphere in the bar is romantic and trendy!
