EXCELLENT: This is a hidden gem in CA. California is a very expensive state to camp in so we were pleasantly surprised at the value we got here. We had electric and water, there were hot showers, the sites were not too close to each other. There was an abundance of wildlife; coyotes, wild turkey's, deer and even cows. You can walk to Coyote Lake where you can kayak or paddleboard but you have to bring your own. There are plenty of hiking trails, the only negative is that there is no cell service. And for those of you that need civilization you are 5 miles from Starbucks and a ton of outlet shopping (famous in Gilroy). $30.00 for electric and water (winter rates).
