So I guess this is how it is going to go.....so far we have had fun everywhere we have been and we genuinely love camping! We call it camping but we do have some little luxuries like electric, hot water, a tv and an upgraded Bluetooth/DVD stereo system with outdoor speakers. Then there is the memory foam mattress (aftermarket of course those RV mattresses are awful) and the convection microwave and wet bath with shower. All of this in 20 feet but it sure is cozy. Check out a few pics of Renee's cooking.
It has been a month now, and we both love being on the road. I mean what is not to love about sleeping in, not working, doing what you want when you want, and going wherever your heart desires!!! Of course Tim is keeping us on a budget because I (Renee) am the spender but I feel like the budget is generous.
Ok so where were we last week, well we were in Cape Cod and if we had one word to describe it I would say "Quaint". I think we both felt like we woke up in the middle of a fairy tale where every clapboard house had the perfect little garden and every town had the cutest little general store and pub. I love general stores, by the way, and always want to take pictures of them. Our little town of Brewster was postcard perfect and we stayed at a great family owned campground called Sweetwater Forest. Check out the floating dock where I did yoga. The balancing poses were quite challenging but doing yoga in that setting was incredible.
In the Cape we relaxed, ate lots of seafood and definitely took advantage of biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. A must if you go to Cape Cod.
Also a must is a visit to Provincetown (P-Town) which is at the very tip of Cape Cod. An artists haven and a foodie's heaven. So Renee is the foodie and had to order local oysters and smokey seafood chowder at an awesome hole in the wall called The Squealing Pig.
We hit it off with Alishia and Lara from Nova Scotia. They invited us to come stay with them but we won't have time to go to Halifax on this trip, maybe New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island though. We will look them up in the future - people are such a big part of our travels, making friends along the way.

As we write this post we are sitting in a great little campground near Acadia National Park on the coast of Maine - truly spectacular. Tim is in Heaven! Cannot wait to share this part of our journey!
