Rumbleway Farm is part of the Harvest Hosts program. We never know what to expect at a Harvest Host property but again wow, this was such a great little farm. We showed up and went to the farm store where we met the couple that owns the farm; Robin and Mark. They are hardworking friendly people who treated us like part of the family.

Mark asked his 14 year old son Matthew to take us on a tour of the farm. He grew up working the farm so he was a great tour guide!
We hopped on the golf cart and off we went. Rumbleway raises free range grass fed chickens and cows. They also raise hogs in the woods and rabbits. We were so excited to see how the animals were raised and processed. They had just processed chickens the day before we got there. These are happy animals, free to eat and bask in the sun until..... but still better than feedlot raised animals. We bought fresh chicken, eggs, homemade sauerkraut, cheese and even some chicken hearts for the dogs. We were in heaven!!!!
Oh and we loved the peacocks we got a great video of a peacock trying to scare a hen but that hen was not about to back off!
Rumbleway also hosts an intensive intern program. The intern lives on the property in a trailer and learns everything about the farm.
