After 2 weeks of moving a lot and catching up with friends we were exhausted. We were ready for some down time. We spent 4 nights at Tuckahoe State Park, I don't think we left the campsite for two days!!!! Tuckahoe State Park was nice, it is a smaller state park campground nestled in the middle of farming country. There is not a ton to do around the park but it was a good place to recharge the batteries. We had the park to ourselves again during the week and then it filled up a little over the weekend - this has been the trend thus far on our journey, check out this video.
We finally ran out of food and had to go to the grocery store on the third day. After a few days of relaxing and cooking in we ventured out to a little quaint town called Denton. Sleepy little town but we found a great Irish Pub called The Public House. Crazy as this sounds, the only sports they were showing were the Tampa Bay Rays vs. Baltimore and the Tampa Bay Lightening vs. Montreal - our home town teams! The games were on side by side so we had a great time watching the games!
Check out a few pics from around the area, oh and one of Renee's healthy (not quite) dinners.
