We had a magical time in this area of the country. It is hard to convey the natural beauty and wonders of this sacred land - you just have to visit it yourself. That said, we decided to do something a little different this time. Instead of describing our visit using narrative, photos and videos, we made two movies that are about two-three minutes each. We hope you enjoy the movies, we certainly do!
This movie is all about the scenic beauty of this amazing place!
This movie is all about the wild animals roaming free!
We think fall is the best time to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton, the weather is cool and crisp, there is a lot less traffic and the animals are active. We parked Peg at Madison Campground inside Yellowstone, a very scenic and perfect location for seeing the entire park. We also stayed in Jackson Hole for a few days, which was ideal for seeing the Tetons and the charming town of Jackson. If a visit to this area does not inspire you to spend more time in the great outdoors, we are not sure what will. We are so fortunate and again it seemed karma was on our side as we saw three grizzly bears, a grey fox, a momma moose with her baby, lots of elk, dear and bison. We also got to experience the geo thermal wonders of Yellowstone and the breathtaking beauty of the Tetons. The National Parks are America's best idea!
